A coherent visual identity was required, one that worked alongside the main university brand but could also be adapted for a younger audience. The ultimate aim being to encourage a greater level of audience engagement with the actual concept of university.
Positive health and wellbeing are essential to achieving potential. To do this, it’s vital we have support and guidance from friends to navigate life’s journey. This is a philosophy shared by the University of Suffolk and one they wanted to communicate with students that had applied for places on courses to start in September 2019.
We created a package title ‘It’s all about you’ filled with a range of treats and reading materials that took inspiration from Mind’s ‘Ways to Wellbeing’. It included a free month’s membership to the campus gym to reduce stress and build self-esteem; a snack bar from our friends at Eat Natural to fuel mood; two notebooks – one to write thoughts in and one to give to a friend; a tea bag to encourage taking a break; and stickers with inspirational quotes to spark positive conversation.
Postgraduate courses at the University of East Anglia (UEA) have an enviable reputation for innovation and, accordingly, attract students from around the world. Recruitment collateral needed to be suitable for a global audience, successfully positioning UEA as a ‘world leading’ university.
In our second year of crafting the PG prospectus, working with the existing positioning of 'The next step is yours' to encourage potential students to feel empowered to make the right choice about their onward journey after their undergraduate degree. We created a set of different sleeves, one for each core market, in their native language to ensure this bold and emotive message translated across the world.
